2014 ram 2500 towing issues

Can anyone advise how the new coil suspension handles with bumper pull 24ft enclosed trailer 9500 lbs.

Bumper pull should be fine. All the coil suspension issues/concerns are in bed camper and 5th wheel related.

Just pulled VA east coast to Nashville and back, combined weight 19,160. Bumper pull equalized hitch. 28' enclosed car trailer. Very good results on 5-link rear coils. Good ride, good control, 1300 lbs on the tongue. Weight on trailer axles 9800. Truck did not even sag without the equalizers. The progressive springs get a vote over the leaf springs for this rig.

Pulled a 27' Seasport that weighs around 9k great. It does NOT haul a 500 gallon water tank very well.............that's only 1100 lbs over loaded though!

I have a 2014, 2500. 7k miles. 10k 5th wheel, B and W companion set towards the rear and 1 inch of sag!!!! Tows GREAT!!!! I have a short bed and no slider. This truck is ions better than my 2003 2500. More power, brakes, fit n finish. 20 mpg. Could not be happier ...

 

[Too Tall]

I'm only 500 lbs tongue weight but I drop 1 1/2" at the hitch. I can tow without weight distribution bars. Works great.
