Hello- I have a 2015 3500, DRW, 4WD. Bought it two years ago. I stipulating 1998 DRW, 4WD. Both are great trucks. The 2015 is a Laramie edition. More fancy than I needed, but it has the Aisen transmission and it had low miles. Hear is the story, please bear with me; camping on the beach in Port Bolivar, Tx. I have camped there numerous times with no incident. Was woke up at 0415 to hear the waves slapping against my truck and moving my 14 foot enclosed motorcycle trailer. I have an Artic Fox 811S truck camper in the bed, the jacks were down. I got up, saw what was happening, remote started the truck, pulled the jacks up far enough to go and went to dry land. The water was splashing against the passenger side of the truck and there was standing water to the factory running boards. Left the beach, secured everything, found a car wash and spent over 30 minutes cleaning the underside of the truck. Air suspension worked great that morning. Over the next couple of weeks, I would get intermittent EVIC messages, Service air suspension, Air suspension needs immediate maintenance. The air suspension would work periodically. Finally got home to Oregon, took the truck in for normal transmission service. They found a code 1566/right rear air sensor. So, I ordered one, installed it myself, started the truck, and the problem and messages are still there. I have read all the forums and info on this system also, cannot find anyone who is up to speed on fixing this system. I have taken all the wiring connections off and cleaned them with contact cleaner, no joy. I can hear the compressor run, I can activate the Alt ride height(getting the truck lowering AND the Raising messages on the EVIC. The truck Does Not raise, I have measured from two fixed points.
Here are my questions; 1) Does the scanner have to reset and delete the messages before the truck will work? 2) Does the compressor have a humidity filter in it?(saw several posts that mention it) 3) Does the system need to be purged and recharged? Thanks in advance. Kenny

OP, I can understand the frustration.

I have been getting intermittent ding and "SERVICE AIR SUSPENSION" messages on my 2500 for almost a year, the message never stays on more than 2-3 seconds.
Seems to happen mostly when I am turning right, truck leaning over to the left side.
My code scanner won't read the codes for the air suspension, so don't know if a code is present.

We had a member recently post about a failed air system and his problem was a corroded wire that had started through some damaged insulation. Give her a good look over for swelled spots in the wiring, especially considering it could have gotten wet with saltwater.

I'm betting you got salt water in a place you shouldn't have....corrosive salt got you! I have the oem air suspension too, but I havent studied it. I would look at the wire(s) where the compressor is at and check all that out since it does have a cover. I'm not sure where the module is for the air suspension, but if its exposed, I would replace it also....just my quick observation
