2015 3500 with 410 rear

I have a 2015 3500 DRW, CTD, 410 rear with the Aisin trans. Is anyone using this gear oil in there rear? The manual states LS is not needed.

That should work just fine.

The 03-18 limited slip diff is a helical gear style and doesn’t require any LSD additive.

That’s exactly what I'm using in my 2013's front and rear differentials.

Go for it, it's as good as any other gear lube with the proper specs.
Nothing wrong with Mobil1.

I have used M1 before...but Valvoline Synthetic in the bag from Autozone is much easier to put in.

I use AMZ/OIL 75-110 Severe Gear towing a combined 35k+ for 1/2 my miles. Ring gear looks great! 15 DRW 4.10's and AISIN. They have the squeeze bags and they are AWESOME.

UPDATE!!!

The gear oil I posted about I was getting a feeling of slight chattering from the rear when turning at slow speeds. I replaced the gear oil again but with Mobil 1 75w90 with LS additive and it solved the chattering feeling. So I would say the manual is wrong.

The manual is not wrong, there isn’t anything in the OEM LSD that would benefit from the LS additive. The LSD does not use clutch packs, and that’s what LS additive is for.
