But all companies like to advertise a low cost base model. It is a common marketing tool. Only Ram can do that for HD pickups because of their options
And that has put RAM in first place in sells???? SNOKING

sold my nv5600 truck and got the auto… tired of shifting… Is is so stone age….
I hate to admit but my hopes of finding a 2015-16 manual Bighorn is quickly dying. There's a few out there but they are far away and the weather isn't helping them get any closer. I also want a few other options and I haven't been able to get everything together in one truck so far. There might be an Aisin in my future![]()
Stop and go traffic on I-5 and I-205 during rush hour traffic kept putting a charlie horse in my left thigh. Too many of those and I had no problem making the choice to go with the Aisin.
I borrowed a 3rd gen to take our old couch to Goodwill and pick up a new one at a furniture store. It was a 2x4 dually with NV5600 and 4:10 gears and I am sure would pull over a house. I had no trouble shifting it, started in 2nd and then 4th, 5th and 6th. Drove it on both freeway and local roads. People behind me on the local roads seemed very impatient leaving stop lights as I got it rolling and up to speed. So my opinion of not wanting a manual have not changed over the years. Snoking

Shift faster
Starting in 2nd with my 3.42's, it takes all of 2 seconds to get to 15-18 mph.
if I were carrying a load in the bed, I would take not do that for fear of dumping it on the road.
I usually am not in a hurry to get to work or anywhere else for that matter. So they (those behind me) can get all worked up about nothing if they want.
