This document says the 2015 has dual radiators. I don’t see a truck described by the OP.

Did they do away with dual rads for the 2015 2500?

My 2013 2500 has both. Maybe they thought it was overkill for the 2500?

Yes, I have that brochure (as mentioned in my first post). We've established that several documents exist that claim 2015's (like mine) have dual radiators, however it has also been established that they actually do not have dual radiators. This is why I asked if you have read all the replies. ;)

Ok, I had gone back & read all the posts before my last statement. But let me clarify my last post. I see documents posted that say both the 2013 & 2014 Ram 2500 & 3500 have dual radiators. And I went out to my truck to see that my 2013 Ram 2500 definately has the Y-connector & dual radiators. What I was wondering is if Ram discontinued the dual radiator for the 2015 MY Ram 2500, but kept it for the 2015 model year 3500?

Ram got huge bragging rights by advertising dual radiators on all their heavy duties in 2013.

So it was probably worth the expense to put it on both the 2500 & 3500 for a couple of years. And since all those 2013's were really 2013.5's because of the Def/SCR changes, they probably didn't have time to design & make the hose for the single radiator.
Or have time to ask a third party to make it.

The recent document I posted is only for the 3500 & clearly states that the 3500 has dual radiators. I see kthaxton has a 2500. And I don't see any documents saying the 2015 2500 has dual radiators.

Might be with all the changes to the 2013 model year, they didn't have time to make adjustments to remove the unnecessary second radiator from the 2500 production line. But did make the change in 2015? I think that is one additional difference between the 2500 & 3500 for the 2015 MY.

Kthaxton, is yours a 2500 2015 Crew Cab Big Horn? I finally see it. Lol My guess is they discontinued it for the 2500 in the 2015 MY.

Don't feel bad, though, when I bought my 2500 in 2013, I thought I was getting the 50,000 lb per square inch increased strength frame.

Instead, I got the 2012 frame on my 2013.

I discovered later that it was reviewed wrong by the truck reviewers. Or there was a misreading of Ram's documents.

Sorry to hijack the thread.

Actually, if you look at the front cover of your document, it is for 2500's and 3500's.

So from this catolog, and everything else I've seen online, there was no mentioned difference between 2500 and 3500 concerning the dual radiators, only that they came with the Cummins.

I haven't heard anyone else specify that they looked at a 2015 3500 and whether it had duals or not....so who knows what's going on. I am assuming that they are the same.

I recently got feedback that the 2015 radiator is the same part number as the primary radiator in 2013. So, if one is now enough, why did Ram go to all that expense in 2013 with a second radiator?

It makes me wonder if they superseded the 13-14 part number to only use 1 radiator, especially since the total volume is the same.

Looking at a 2007, 2011, 2013, and 2015 owners manual they all call for 5.7G. Radiator design will effect cooling, but odd that they all take the same volume if cooling changes were needed. Even at 255 additional ft/lbs the 6.7 cooling system is smaller than the 5.9 system by about 1.3 gallons.

I know this is an OLD thread!

Question.....has anyone heard or have a 2015 RAM/CUMMINS that actually has the dual radiator setup???

I see aftermarket "Y" pipes listed as 13-15. I asked parts guy he said no "Y" pipe for 15 but on another forum they insist there were some early 15's.

Anything is possible. Use up the old stuff before starting to use the new stuff.

Having owned a 2013 and a 2014.....I can safely verify that these were the only two years with dual radiators.

I know those two for sure did but the guys that sell the "Y" pipe replacements list them as 13-15. Trying to get the facts on the 15 having in an early build date or not. I have never heard of one. Just trying to have factual info for a discussion on RV.NET.

I also mentioned the AISIN's cooler is a stand alone unit not connected to the radiator or radiators.

It's probably confusion on model year vs calendar year. Many folks, and companies, can't grasp that a 2015 truck could have been made in 2014.
