An extra 15 ft/lb,s ! Just so they can beat Furd by 5? what a joke. But the sad thing is that the ill informed vast majority of pick buyers out there will jump brands just to say that there truck has 1 hp more than yours. Pathetic bunch that marketing has to try to sell to. They don't look beyond driving it off the lot and actually putting some real miles on the truck and actually pulling a trailer up a mountain with that truck 7 years from now and what it cost to rebuild the truck by that time which in general Ram kick's butt.

Good point.

I just had the opportunity to ride in a 14 stroker. Nice ride but the interior looks like it was designed by Lego and when that engine winds up it sounds like a gasser with a fart can. Nice acceleration but it just dont seem like a diesel anymore. Maybe I'm just too used to my old school rattle trap? I dont know.

And then you look under the hood.... wow.

I agree... It looks as if Gates Hose Company threw up under the hood :-laf

I'm sure that insurance companies have noticed a sharp increase in windshield replacements from scores of lost 8mm and 10mm sockets when their customers follow a pickup that has recently left a service bay lol!!

A little experiment that will only cost $30

Here goes...

Take a roll of quarters (unwrapped of course) and toss under the hood of each of the "big three" and see for yourself how many make it to the ground. Pick them up and compare how many you get to stick back into your pocket... It is only then that you'll see which one is likely to cost you the most.

I like that! Which side of the engine do you stand by under the hood when you do your test. See pavement from under the hood, unheard of!!!!!

Mikey, when in it's natural position the Ford will win that test everytime :-laf

We just got some at work. Yup they're too gasser like. But they are fast.
