Well then....just remove the valve once it drains....unless your sole purpose for the Fumoto was to avoid the laborious task of removing the drain plug.![]()
I do , I have the first time I drained with the Fumoto, to see how much oil . I may drill holes in the threads ,its an option. My purpose was the ease of draining, removing the plug is no big deal .

The problem I see now, after four drains the gasket was shot, so I had to replace the OE plug. I did send for some extra gaskets, but thats almost like them saying that drain valve is not designed to keep removing or at least the gasket is sure not .
If one plans on using the Fumoto , one of three things, drill holes in the threads, or have extra gaskets, they don't hold up, if taken off, and on .They seem to be a basic gasket material, you put on whatever they go on, and leave it on . Or the third option, for the ones that don't care ,do nothing , no else cares .
