I finally picked up the 2019 3500 Tradesmen yesterday and love it. I would like to know if there is anything more that I should replace in the truck? For example the cheesy plastic fuel filler cap! Lol I ordered a good fuel cap through Amazon for it. I dont trust dirt or water from getting in the tank with the plastic one. Are you guys putting any pedal enhancers on them or just leaving them alone? There seems like there is a hesitation when pressing the pedal because of the live wire. I really dont want to go down the endless rabbit hole changing things like injectors, air intake and such with this new one. I like the warranty!
I must say though I have owned many first and second generation Dodges and this one is by far the most comfortable riding 3500 yet, even without a load. We will see how it fairs in the long haul. My only problems with the older ones were the automatic transmissions and the rough ride without loads. lol The second gens I still have left have high mileage, but the engines still run great.
I am dying to see how my 2012 Chevy Silverado 3500 HD Duramax CC with the Allison compares with the Aisin towing characteristics with a load and without. I am going to give my honest opinion on how they both tow for my company. It will be just my opinion! Lol

Put 35 PSI in the rear tires when running without a load for ride improvement. Fully load to RGAWR only requires 65 PSI in he rears. Run 80PSI in the front tires all the time.

Learn to roll into the throttle vs mashing it.

Put some running boards on and mud flaps.

Beyond that, just drive it and enjoy it.

Put some running boards on and mud flaps. No mud flaps! LOL Definitely nerf bars!!! Have any recommendations?

Anyone have any black full length 5" or 6" nerf bar recommendations? I dont want the wife ruining the new door jamb rubber seals climbing in, like she done to my other trucks. LOL

Welcome to the 4.5 Gen club. Nice looking truck. There are many options for mud flaps but with my 2019 Laramie 3500 SRW, the factory wheel flares are an issue and there are not many manufacturers that have caught up yet. But google nerf bars and you'll see many in the black color, I haven't settled yet on which running boards or nerf bars I want. But check this link https://runningboardwarehouse.com/p...ut-stainless-nerf-bars/v/ram/truck-3500/2019/
and

These are just a small example of what I'm seeing. Good luck and congratulations on your new truck.

I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER can the NEXEN's and sell them! Install Michelins or any other top quality tire. Within 1,000 miles have toe toe set to 1/64". If you don't the front outer edges WILL start stepping!!!

Leave rears where they are move fronts side to side keeping rotation the same. this requires separating tires from rims.

Start engine, set TH and EB every time!!!

Your truck would look EVEN better if you get gloss black high temp wheel paint and paint the wheels AND hub covers. ALL black looks a little SINISTER!

The weather tech mud flaps are now available to order for the 2019 with the factory flare fender SRW. So mine are on order now, but it seems like there is a delay in shipping, probably being molded as I type this.
