What exactly would be the use of a split gate like that?

The only thing I can reasonably think of, a one piece swinging gate would require 4+ feet to open which would make it difficult to open in certain situations, garages, parking lots, hooked to a trailer, etc.

The 900 ft lb Cummins is Plenty...I don't need more power. We're pulling a 39 foot 5ver and the truck. Pulls it as fast as I want to go.. But WE DO HAVE THE RAM TOW MONSTER! Dually, AISIN, 4:10s, auto level, factory 5ver prep in LONGHORN...65 mphis 65 mph....
