2020 HO Cummins intake baffle

Hello to all!

I plan to keep the baffle installed eventhough I wish it had more turbo whine, but I know the 2021baffle has eliminated the foam that used to be installed in earlier models.

before I tear my 2020 apart to check, does anyone know if the 2020 uses the same style baffle as the 2021?

If it was still using the foam version, then I want the foam gone.
I just hate the fact that there is much of anything in front of that very expensive turbo!

The first thing I did on my 2010 was pulling that baffle!
All foam and thin cheap plastic!

I haven't heard of a single event that this foam destroyed an engine.

It is there for a reason. Part of it's function is to direct the air flow into the turbo inlet in the most efficient manner.

True, I meant the foam.

I think it has the newer foam less version.
