Another Mfg had the same exact problem... I think it was Hyndai?
The problem now is when u start seeing supply constriction, it is not unusual to see factories go thru their MRB stuff and start passing marginal parts...I think you are right about the catching fire part but I think it has something to do with the ABS system.
Recalls are nothing new but I wonder how many of these brand new vehicles are being impacted by the supply chain disruptions causing manufacturers to use whatever they can get their hands on to keep the assembly lines rolling.
Well, this would affect more than just the new trucks. It's the intake air heater relay.
My relay/solenoid is on the passenger side. The quick fix is tape???Grid heater relay by the driver side battery is the reason for this recall.
