2100 Miles/36 Hours. I'm too old for this

Left Sat. night at 6:00 and pulled back into my dealership at 6:15 this AM. I feel like I have been pulled thru a knot hole backwards. Picked up a 1995 Hitchhiker II 30RLUG 5th wheel in Mesa, Az. Pulled great. Many of you know I have been running a VA box for over a year now. I recently have installed an EZ with boost elbow for testing. I have now made two Az. turn arounds with the EZ and feel like I can now voice an opinion. Look for the post tommorow under "The EZ Towing Report I Promised"..... I' will give you the conclusion when I get my head back together... . nite,nite.

Thanx guys. But I could not have done it with out my bride who is an excellant driver. If you are ever out there and get your doors dusted by a Dodge/Cummins pulling an RV being driven by a 5'1" little blonde gal, you can bet your boots, you have just been Sophie-ized. I woke up somewhere around Midland, Texas about 2AM Monday on the way home with her driving. Boost guage was a solid 20# and we were stroll'n down the slab at 75. I asked her if she thought she might be a little deep into the turbo? She did'nt think so. I went back to sleep, it's still under warranty... ... ... .

My wife is 5'2" and has a heavy foot too. There have been several times(before the 6 speed)that I would wake up from a nap and I can tell she has it wrapped up pretty good by the sound of the engine. I'll look over at the speedo and it will be reading 75 or so.

She says it pulls better at 75. She did have a point!! Like you--I'd go back to snoozing!!

Bill, thought about you sunday night coming out of El Paso. A Dodge/Cummins 3500 with a BIG slide in camper pulling a BIG horse trailer came by me. He must have had a straight pipe. When he blew by me,(I was running about 65) that exhaust sounded like a MAD swarm of bubble bees. He had that little Cummins wound up like an 8 day clock.
