I have always had 12valves, but the supply of 98 quad cab 12v's is low, at least on my budget. So this time I am looking at 2nd gen 24v's. You guys have scared the crap out of me about buying a 24v. I have read all the posts.
I know not to buy a 53 block. If the lift pump and the vp44 are good are the 24v dependable?Are the pump failures total or can you get home?Can you check codes on a 98 or 99 without a scanner?If I have a good vp44 and a new lift pump and a fuel pressure gauge to monitor is it a dependable rig?
