Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 241DHD question

Hey, im switching my truck from 2wd to 4wd, i have a 4wd frame and everything needed, but the 241DHD came out of a nv4500 truck. I know that i need the 23s input shaft, but i herd theres a 23S wide, and narrow bearing input shaft. do i need the narrow one? i think the wide ones where for the rare nv4500 that had the 23s output. THANKS!

anyone have an idea if i need the 23s narrow or wide bearing for my auto, now i think i reaad that 47re came with 29s output? im confused please help i want to start this swap but im stuck

I looked in my 96 service manual no info on shaft sizes.

do they sell overdrive units? i need to figure out how to get my hands on a overdrive unit fast so i can get this swap started

I would sell your manual case and purchase an auto case?

Just change the input gear on the manual case very simple
