Competition 24V Heads

Does anyone have pictures of a ported 24V (98-02) head? Just curious about the small hump in the bowl area (both intake and exhaust), located in between the valve guide and the injector. Is it material around the injector bore, or is it a water jacket around the injector bore? Can it be removed? Also, how much material can be removed from the intake bowls? My seem to have a lot of extra material compared to the valve seat.

It pays to be cautious as to what APPEARS to be an unnecessary "bump" in a combustion chamber - sometimes they are there as an intentional component to assist turbulence and an even flame front...
