That thing is very nice looking. The only question I have is will the retainers fall through the slots in the opening for removing the retainers?

FAll through? when removing or installing?

When trying to put the retainers back on you have to work with them a bit and they could fall through the slot if it's big enough. On the other hand the slots would give you a bit more room to stick the retainers on the valve stem.

They could possibly go through but you would have to have them fall [erfectly through there they are pretty small holes

I do like the more room with the slots having used the Miller tool with limited room arround the stems. This would be a help doing #6 and the chance of a retainer falling through could be eliminated by stuffing something in the crack.

any suggestions on using it on a 03 c. r.

Will work on all 24v engines, just mount the base and slip it on it will only fit one direction and it is marked intake and exhaust
