Finally got the guages in, sent the 230hp plate back, received and installed the 250hp plate in my 180hp ram. I finished the install in about 3 hrs due to that pesky little break-off screw on the AFC housing. That little bugger made me test my patience and tool cashe too. I got it out by tapping the edges with a long, thin cold roll chisel turning it in 1/8 increments. It went pretty fast after that and the ride was next.
No real change with light to medium throttle while letting it go through the gears, but once 4th lock kicked in- I punched it. It felt like I had unhooked my flatbed with 30 bales of hay to begin with, but the difference was clearly more than that. The motor sounded like it was really pissed off and kept pulling the truck past the safe speed for the country road I was on. I was tired, dirty, thirsty, but satisfied. Very, very satisfied and grinning ear to ear.

Pyro unloaded came to a stop at 1050, boost to about 32 psi.
A big thanks to TST and this site. You guys are great.
What's next? Probably start with the transmission upgrades.
Steve.
