25000 vs. 3500
My 2004. 5 2500 carried my 36' Cedar Creek great after I added 2 full length leaf springs. Actually it carries the weight just as well as my 06' 3500 DRW. The real difference is my 2500 tires were just at the limit and I did not feel extremely safe with it over 65mph. The truck actually road better than my 06'. My 06' handles the load much-much more stable than did the 2004. 5 SRW. Actually no comparison. Anyone that tells you a single rear wheel truck does it just as good is lying or don't know better.
