Got dyno today, was this good readings for what I have? was hoping for more. these are ground specs what is at flywheel? more but how to figure I don't know. Going to get new turbo in about a week then gonna dyno again to see how my money goes.
thanks for replys, I was thinking low too! what gives? think I may have problem? jammer 2's are to be 75hp and juice w attitude stated 40-125hp hell thats 200hp minus the truck!!
What type of dyno was it? A load or inertia dyno? Load dyno's IIRC will read lower than an inertia dyno. I dynoed my numbers with whats in my sig except with a stock turbo and a smarty... as well as in 6th gear.
That's not bad for the early model 24 valve engines. The one thing about the 98. 5 and 99 model trucks is that the power and torque numbers were at 235/460, where as 2000 came and the numbers bumped up to 250/505 from the factory. Check w/your local dealer (Cummins or Dodge)---there is a ecm that I bought that put my truck more in line with the 2000 up models. If there are any questions---I have a diablosport power puck on it and does fine, so no problems on stacking it. Give me later in the day and I will see if I can find the paperwork for the ecm to post a cpl # for the ecm.
I don't know what type dyno but I have shelled out some money to get extras and sure thought would have been better! I am kinda thinking buy newer model: most of my up grades will work on the models up to 2002

I'm pretty sure all 5 speed 24valve trucks were 235/460. It is only the 2001-2002 6 speeds that have 245/505. The automatic's had lower power ratings in the early 24valves
heres what I would do, get rid of the edge, get a quadzilla adrenaline, either get a hot rod vp44 or get one off a automatic trans truck, and get a turbo, that will get you close to 500hp
In January I ran 368hp/967ft-lbs. That was before the HTT62/12 or the new VP44. I won't be able to run again until June 14 for the new numbers. I really hope you don't have the problems I've been having trying to get out of the 300's.
