Has anyone here needed to replace the subject part? Mine has held up so far, however have not located a source for a new one until recently.

Yep I used that exact one.

It wworked great.

Only thing I had issues with were finding new fittings that would thread in, I had to reuse my old ones. Never figured it out. But no real issue.

But if someone adds the fittings, that would be helpful.

Haven’t we been here before? Must be deja vu all over again.

That piece is generally referred to as the Heat Exchanger, while Cummins calls it the Torque Converter Cooler.

Is there a problem with yours?

Fingers crossed, mine has held up so far.

The only times I’ve heard of the 2nd Gen exchangers needing to be replaced are when they’ve either rusted out from the road chemicals/salt or when someone has messed up the fittings by not using a backup wrench when removing them. Otherwise, they’ve been pretty much bulletproof.

Yep mine was a NE rig, so was ruined for sure.

But only seeping. So even as bad as it was I bet it would last a while if I left it.

Yours looks amazing, for sure not a NE rig.

I'm also amazed they still list that part as it's been 8 years since I got mine. Time flies.
