What do the fuel fill hose and vent hose look like on a c-a-c truck? Dealer doesn't have parts, and didn't want to order one just to look at it, incase it wouldn't work the way I want it to.
I put a used alum. flatbed (unknown mfg. , no name on it) on in Aug. I think it had been on a Ford. Fueling the truck is a real PITA. I was able to hook the hoses up to the flatbed, but the OEM hoses that are used with a pickup truck dually box have several bends, possibly causing poor venting. The other problem is, the piece that the hose hooks to on the bed is pointing more to the rear, than more towards the tank. I can't hardly use a big nozzle at the truckstops, and I still can't usually even use the first click on the smaller auto-shutoff nozzles. Almost always wants to spit the fuel back onto the ground making a mess. #@$%!
Anyone have a pic? Dealer didn't have one, and tried some truck body dealers, and they did have anything either. Said they don't put many beds on Rams. The '03+ in particular.
Or, what size are the hoses? Been very, VERY busy and haven't been able to check.
Thanks in advance for any help.
