Broke my Brake Black Box

Got stuck in a snow covered field in 0 degrees this weekend.

I was in 4 low but rears were spinning - fronts not turning.

Rescued by a Hummer.

Checked my manual for info on locking hubs - they don't show mine.

I removed the cover - no gears inside - just the splined shaft.

Anyone know where to go for spares, Dodge? Dana? TIA

Those are budget Warn hubs. You can find them online by searching "Warn". I have them as well. Are you sure that your front drive line was turning? Did you see any damage to the spline disks in the hub? Take one side completely apart and if you find none, Go to the other.

What spline disks? No seriously - thanks very much for the info - will go on ebay now to try and locate one (or a pair)

I might have one that the cap got screwed up but the internals were good. I'll look for it tomorrow evening.

I just replaced mine last week. I have everything except the allen bolts. They worked great, just need to be cleaned and re-greased. PM me if you want them.

Thanks Guys

Thanks to all of you that offered help, but I've ordered a pair online, so I should soon have a spare to offer like all of you guys.

I bought the truck in the fall, but I'm just looking back to all the times I THOUGHT I was engaging 4WD in the past!

Bad Vibration

Update. Fitted new hub I got from e-bay. Got a chance to "test" it today since my work shut early due to a winter storm. I can't get under truck right now, but any advice out there regarding a bad vibration (at any speed) I now have at the front end?

Is this only when the hubs are locked in? Could be why the PO took out the internals before he let any body test drive it... Possibly u-joints in the front end, also check to see if your u-joints are lined up at the slip yoke on the front drive shaft.
