My truck is approaching 300K miles. I seem to remember hearing that I should be doing some sort of overhaul at that point. Can anybody point me to something specific on that issue? My transmission has been rebuilt recently and is ready to go. I put extra fuel filtration on it when I bought it, circa 240K miles. I have no clue what any other previous history of this vehicle is. It is currently running fine, and I would like to keep it that way for many more years to come.

My 2005 has 430k on it, I bought it with 79k on it back in 2009. I have done a few water pumps, the cp3 pump at about 250k, a set of injectors around 375k. Stock fuel filtration system on it, I just change my fuel filter at every 7k oil change.

I was hoping for a good excuse to swap in a 6.7L block, but it is still working fine. I bought the truck 7 years ago with 260K miles. I did the secondary filtration at 262K miles. I just might do some injectors, I have no clue as to their age or other history.
