Hello to all.

I plan on being there and racing. I just came from that big event in Embden ME at Maple Valley. That one was almost tooo big. I didn't get to race there because they were so far behind schedule and I had my 2 year old daughter by myself. She had a blast watching the mud races.

I plan on haveing two Piers modified HX40's one with a 6 blade compressor with an 18cm and the other with a 8 blade compressor and a 16cm exhaust. I hope to try them both.

How is everyone going to meet when we get there??

Is there a web site with more info like directions and event times and cost????????????

Later,

www.mapquest.com

i'll probably just be watching being that my truck is basically stock (unless a handicap?). my best friend will be watching and i have two other guys (a cummins and 6. 5 diesel) coming from NH probably.

OK

I did a little Internet searching.

The event is actually in Cornish ME. For fairground maps go to http://www.cornish-maine.org/

I think the drive is a bit farther than you all think. There is camping on the fairground site. You can call the Ossipee Fair Grounds at

800 696 7565.

Later,:D

George (Batman),

After looking at that site, you had better get signed up for the 'Pig Calling' event A. S. A. P. !! It looks like it is going to be a fully-booked event.....

"Here pig-pig-pig-piggy!!!!"

some of you may know, but the best way i know (coming from mass) is to hit the Spaulding turnpike at the Portsmouth Traffic Circle. that'll turn into 16 and obviously take that up to Ossipee. it'll be around 1 1/2 hours from the portsmouth traffic circle. http://www.cornish-maine.org/spevents.html

so, $6 admission on Saturday and $5 on Sunday. kids under 6 are free...

Count me in...

I'll be there to watch. I even talked my girlfriend into coming... told her there would be horses there (didn't specify which ones!;) ).

Hi guys,

I'll race too. Sounds like fun anyway. Is anybody planning on convoying up from the southern New England area on Saturday morning? If so, perhaps an early breakfast would be in order? Let me know and maybe some of us can plan to meet somewhere.

Hold it... ... ... hold it there now what tha heck you guys up to now?

been away for two weeks on vac. Man they call it the sunshine state and it rained and was colder than the NE:confused:

So now you guys are racing in the dirt? and you want me to go?

Heck I don't drive my truck in the rain never mind in dirt:rolleyes:

Well don't know if can make it or not, gotta catch up with two weeks of the busy life, but if I go gonna have to ride up with some one.

See ya around.

I apologize guys but it looks like I'm going to have to back out of the sanddrags this weekend.

I'm going to be heading down to Virginia and Maryland this Sunday and don't want to drive from Maine to get there.

Have a good time, I'll be installing my PDR35 this Saturday before my trip. Oo.

Well, there's one more corndog that won't be eaten on Saturday now that Kevin won't be there... . that's okay... . between Jeff and myself we can hold our own just fine!

How about someone posting some directions and/or meeting places... . let's get this ball rolling quick-like... it's coming up fast.

Matt

Directions

Get to the Portsmouth traffic circle. just before you hit the circle stay in the left two lanes. (you'll be going right by Portsmouth Ford and the mall area if you're on the right track). Take route 4 which turns into the Spaulding Turnpike. That's 16 and just follow it straight all the way up to Center Ossipee. From there take a right and go down route 25. It's about 15 miles or so from Ossipee.

i just took a drive over there without specific directions (just for the drive really). i must have turned around a mile before the track and headed up by Hiram (that's one small town!). from the website, the fairgrounds will be on the right if you're coming from new hampshire. only a 45 minute drive for me this time. c yas there!

btw, what time will everyone be there at? i'm thinking 9:30-10:00, but i'm not sure yet.
