I have to agree with you, Gary. The benefits of these are clear but who's will you buy? Comes down to taste. Colors/chrome could cinch the deal for those on the fence.

Gary, those are all things that I had look into before doing this, if I went with a mandrel 1 piece I had to have the pipe flatten out on the top which resulted in a loss in flow. When we built this piece I want something that would out flow everything else out there. As far a sanding the welds I have always felt that was hiding crappy welding. I personally love the look of a hand fabricated piece provided the welding is very high quality. When guys get this piece in hand you will see that the welds look just as nice from the inside, and i bet the other ones out there out there can't say that.

Stefan, no offense intended - towards you, or the intake piece - just an observation. But yes, I know what you mean about nice welds - I worked as a welder many years ago, and can fully appreciate the artistry in quality welds - and I'm sure those on the intakes look GREAT up close and personal... ;)

SO, when are you gonna send me mine? I can provide GREAT pics of one installed on my '02... :-laf:-laf:-laf

Price

Just Wanting To Know The Price That It Will Be For A 2nd Gen. Or Can Atleast I Find Out When You May Have A Price Ready.

Thanks

The introductory price for both will be $249. They should be ready in approx. 2 weeks. If you are wanting one message me or e-mail me so I can put you on the list if I haven't already. I will be build x10 2nd gens and x10 3rd gens for the 1st batch.

We are fabbing one up right now. :) Hopefully only a little while longer than the other ones.

Stephan I like how this intake has turned out, I like it more than the others I've seen come along. When you get the 12V piece ready I'm interested in getting on board.

I'd like to lose the preheater too, I've had the one on my '98 unplugged for the last two winters now so might as well get rid of it.

Just packing them up, haven't charged anyone yet. I do have 6 square to round transition grid done as well so those who want them or want to see them pm me you e-mail or e-mail me so I can send pics. That will save some shipping$$$. My guy took the holiday with his kids instead of working so that was the hold up.
