That'll be close, what is the backspacing on your stock '97 wheels? On my '01 wheels the backspacing is just over 6" and a 315 will rub the control arm at full lock. With your new wheels that nearly 1" difference might be enough to clear the control arm, but may contact the rear of the front fender while turning, without adding a taller coil, the D25's for example.

EDIT, you didnt state what the width of the new wheel is, that will play a roll in fittment. For example, I have 315/70/17's on 17x10 wheels, with 4. 5" backspacing, I have no rubbing anywhere, ever. However, I don't think you can get away with a 10" wide wheel with 315's without a lift of more than the D25's give, mine has the D25's, and a 3" body-lift.
