315/70/17 ?

Any one know if this tire/wheel combo (315/70/17) will work on a stock height '01 4x4? Truck has camper and snow plow springs, sits pretty high. Also is there any difference in wheel fit, offset between 2nd and 3rd gen trucks. These wheels were on a 3rd gen, fit my 2nd gen? Thanks guys

The wheels will fit fine.



Regarding the tires, some say 35's fit fine, some say they don't.



Only way to be sure is to try it.

I have the Hummer H2 package on a stock height 99 and have no problems.

i've run a set of 3rd gen alloys with 315's on my '01 for two years ...



they rub the control arms at full lock ...



stone stock suspension ... has 140k on the original front end and is fine

I put the D25 skyjacker 2 1/2" replacement coils in the front.

I had the snowplow prep (46/39 coils) and never thought 35's would fit with out a lift.

I think you may hear some rubbing. I have no rubbbing at all.
