Hmmm. Too many people have laughed at my new 4x4's small (stock) tires/rims. After getting stuck in the sand, I decided to upgrade, but what size is good?
I took a look at 33 and 35 inch tires at 4 wheel parts today. The 33's don't look much different than what I have now. The 35's look pretty good, tho. 35/12. 50R16. 5 M/T BFG
Will these tires fit my truck(assuming I use a leveling Kit)? I've received conflicting information. One guy told me that I would need a 4" lift to get 35 inch tires onto the truck. The guy I spoke with today said a leveling kit is sufficient. Does anyone now what is correct? Also, I would appreciate any recommendations for tires/wheels/leveling kit. The quote I just received for a set of 4 and leveling (35/12. 50 BFG M/T, Weld Super Single II's, Rancho leveling kit) was just over $3,200 (labor -- $765 -- and tax -- 209. 77 -- included). Sounds pretty pricey to me...
