Competition vgt in twin setup?

Competition Good source for a 6spd transmission

I am in the process of building a money pit(I mean pulling truck) and am wandering if 370's will be enough to hit the 550-600HP mark, or should I go with some EDM's or something. This is a 1997 2500 with a 180 pump. I have not purchased the cam plate, or delivery valves yet. Just kind of building it up piece by piece. Thanks for the info.

We've got something even better than 370's... Less smoke, less heat, more power and smoother running... Give Lenny a call and ask about the DDP stage 4 injectors. 360-794-7974. :D

Grind your own camplate, and if your careful, you can grind your own D-valves. Stick with the 370s until you get your chassis/clutch/auto worked out.

Traction bars are a great parts saver. ;)

Self Grinding D-Valves? How can you be sure to get them the same? I like the idea... ... just not so sure I want my truck running 20hp less one cylinder to another!

I think it was Jim Fulmer who made that much.

670 on #2 only but that was with a stupid pump... ... ..... I did like 550 with a 180 pump and Twins, there is just a limit to a 180, a 215 is above that but wouldn't waste money on buying one, get all you can out of the 180 then go for a real pump and sell the 180 to a 160 pump guy to get some money back and get his 160 for a race pump core.

I said you have to be careful!!

Don't know, never had a 215 pump. Nor do I want one. Their camshafts suck.

I'm just asking... . because in one post now I know I'm limited to around 500-550 on my 180pump, if we could get 215 numbers..... we could have both pumps in one post!

I have made more than 550 with a 180 pump. A 180 pump is not a limiting factor.

So, who's pump have you been using for the last few years ????? I didn't even realize you've developed your mechanical attributes into a subject matter pump/ injector expert, Oh, and BTW, where is your dyno sheet? (I'm always asked for time slips) :-laf :-laf :-laf

I am brand new to TDR so this question may sound "stupid" but what is a stupid pump?

Its a Piers Diesel Research re-worked P-pump off of a 12 Valve Cummins that puts out STOOPID amounts of fuel. :-laf

Hey sleddy your rig is a 97 5spd... . how the heck do you have a 180 pump? Thought those were only limited to to Kalifornia and auto equipped trucks

Stock PDR 370 inj. will spray enough fuel for at least 800hp, with only 65psi and a big pump i made 768hp on the second run. You don't need anything bigger and the best part is they only cost $399. Hey Jim, were we been hiding? :D Are we getting anything done, diesel related?
