I have searched for the last 30 minutes and didn’t find anything. This weekend a buddy and his kid are flying in and buying my 3rd gen. I have a set of wheels and tires that I had on my truck but removed to put the stockers back on. I’m looking at a 1994 single cab long bed truck. My question is will the wheels I took off my 3rd bolt on the 1994 and be useable, meaning can I drive it down the road until I locate a set of second gen wheels.

Yes, they will work wonderfully on the ‘94. I had them on my ‘95 then moved them to my ‘98.

Thanks Big Papa. I’m not using stock wheels. I had my stock ones for sale at one point and had a guy ask me for all kinds of measurements saying he heard they wouldn’t fit. If the stockers will fit I’m certain my Cragers will fit

Got some 3rd gen steel / chrome 17" wheels for my 98. Wheels fit, but rear caps weren't deep enough. Used a hole saw on the cap from the inside out for the rear hub and also had to clearance a little for the lug nuts. Doesn't look bad - got some great tires in the deal so worth it to me.
Probably is no problem with the alloy wheels due to the extra thickness of the wheel. Someday I'll find some alloys like big papa, much nicer wheel than the chromes in my opinion
