Where to mount remote exh brake?

Hi I have a 2003 Ram with H. O. motor. I installed a Banks Six Gun w/speed loader, High Ram intake, Big Head waste gate, Afe Torque Tube, and a Amsoil TST high flow airfilter. My question is does 26psi of boost sound right. I personally think it is way low. I get 26psi no matter which setting I have the six gun switch on.

Your wastegate is set at 26 psi. You can adjust it up a bit but more than 30psi on an HY35 is passing the point of diminishing returns as drive pressure begins to soar.

Thanks for the reply. There is a guy here in town who repowered a suburban w/cummins and has the same set up except I'm not sure if he has the Big Head waste gate, and is getting 44psi on level 6.

Do you adjust it by turning thr rod coming out of it? If so clockwise or counter clockwise and how many turns?

I don't know how to adjust the banks wastegate. I do know at 44 psi your buddies turbo's days are numbers.

My HY35 blew right after I put the banks big head actuator on. I was maxing out at 38PSI. The turbo was going before the banks big head, but once installed, it sped up the clock on the bomb. It sure is cool blowing a turbo, but it sucks dishing out the cash for a new performance one.

The boost issue could be the six gun tuner. I have no experience with them but I know my bully dog torque dog didn't build more than 22PSI on the highest setting. I have to have the TST plugged in first and then the Bully Dog to see high boost numbers. I've heard somewhere on TDR a few months ago that Bully Dog doesn't do boost fooling so I would imagine they wouldn't raise the boost pressure. Thats just what I heard though. Banks could be the same way. The best thing to do would be to call a tech at Banks and see what they say straight from the horses mouth.

Thanks again for the replies. We decided to remove the control box and send it back to Banks for trouble shooting hopefully they can figuire out what is going on.
