4 BT swaps Who has done them and in what ?

I got a frito truck with a 4bt with a auto trans , the transmission and adapter will probally be sold .



My wife wants a 4bt Durango does any one got mounts built for sale along with the modified oil pan .



What other simular rigs been done ?



Does any one have jigs to make the mounts for sale ?



In a toyota or jeep cheerokee or ?

A 4bt Durango would be sweet. You may want to check out www.4btswaps.com thay may have some of the things you are looking for.

I would really look at the HEIGHT of the motor and do some measuring if you haven't found a similar swap into a Durango or Dakota.

The front suspension might not be up to the weight of the 4BT either.



Sure will be cool if it's feasable though.



What trans. does it have now?

I've seen pics of a 4 bt in an older Dakota. Plenty of room left. I've seen a bta in a Dakota. My son put a 6BT in a 95 S-10.

There was a video on YouTube of a Durango with a 4bt backed by an NV4500. The guy said he got around 32-35mpg with that set up.
