Nothing to forgive, Rex,

I'm sure it's a good turbo! Will can get you any turbo you want, and then some!
I really believe in the case of most turbos for our trucks, it's a "try-it-and-see" situation for nearly everyone. No two trucks are ever alike... .
I'm on my 3rd Hx40, the first one was a Majestic-tweaked job that blew at 20 psi right after installing it, and left me & Steve St. Laurent on foot about 3 miles from Mark Chapple's garage.

Sure was cold in Indiana that night.

The second was a stock Hx40. The one on my truck now is one of the first PDR- Hx40's, it's lasted all this time. No reliability issues where I'm concerned. I also like the fact the 40 can be used as a top turbo in a set of twins, which equals to money saved as you step up in power.
Somebody mentioned somewhere that Borg-Warner's Schwitzer Turbo division is coming out with variable geometry turbos around 6 months from now. Even if that's true, I think twin systems will still offer a better way to go, and be cheaper than VGT's .
