My car broke down and had to be towed today. The tow truck was an Int. 4700 with a 466E, International's "Powerstroke". I'm not the kind to talk bad about another brand while ignoring my own truck's shortcomings, but this thing was a DOG! It almost stalled 4 times while starting off from a stop, twice on level surface. He had it in first (the second forward gear out of seven). Even my wife mentioned this to me. I thought that my truck was slow. I know that the truck empty is heavy but it could hardly move a 3600lb payload! If this is what "they" have in their pickups they should never say anything negative about the mighty Cummins! It is NO wonder why Ford offers the Cummins in their 2 biggest F- series and not the"Power?stroke". Rich P. S. Anybody know why a wheel would suddenly lock up after changing a flat?
