I have a 2014 RAM 2500 diesel that came with the old 3G Uconnect WIFI. When 3G went away, I got the 4G Uconnect module that plugs into the OBDII port. Initial setup was easy, had no problems... Fast forward to August of last year, the interface ceased to communicate. I called Uconnect and opened a ticket. Since then I have made many calls to Uconnect, they want to troubleshoot this and that, do a 30 second reset, when that doesn't work we do a 15 second reset. That, of course, doesn't work either. Then I get the song and dance that they need to escalate it to the next level, and that will take a few days. I may, or may not get a call back, more often than not, I get no call and have to call them. Then we start through the troubleshooting etc., and they need to escalate it to the next level. They have had me do resets, un-plug and re-plug, drive for a minimum of 10 miles, move to a place with a better cell signal, and on and on and on!!! It has been several weeks since they "escalated" it to the next level, so I called again today. Had to do the same song and dance again. The indications I have are; the side that communicates with the vehicle flashes blue, the side that communicates with the cell network flashes red, and the WIFI light never comes on.
Am I alone, or has anyone else had this problem?

Well folks... I finally received a new adapter in the mail. No communication from the Uconnect folks, the package just showed up...

Installation was easy, and it is now working. Hopefully it will last longer than the first one.
