HEY RR12,
I believe my Wrangler has traction control AND I have factory service manual on it. At least I can understand concept of operation and might be able to help better.
Alright so reading some other posts I checked my battery cables again. Driver side right, passenger side I got probably 5-6 turns out of them and got them tight. Hopefully it stays off this time for more than 3 days lol.
Still seeing this issue. I'm having the batteries tested today to see if they might be the issue. I've read other posts having the same issue and it was there batteries.
If the batteries are good I'll start checking fuses. I hurt my back a few weeks ago so laying under the truck to check wheel sensor plugs it's out of the question right now.
Everyone that is either following this or posted. Finally figured out the issue which i think is really dumb.
Turns out that the passenger side battery was only showing 8v. Driver side was showing 12 like normal so it was good.
I replaced the passenger battery and no more issues with the traction light coming on. Good to know that i now have a perfect bad battery warning light built into the truck lol.
I plan on it. Just didn't have the funds right then and there for both batteries. I'll be getting the driver side this weekend and keeping the good one for something else.
