2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission 4x2 to 4x4, what parts are needed?

I've seen people on the TDR who have converted from a 2 wheel drive to a 4 wheel drive. What parts will be needed? Can I use my existing nv4500? Any idea of the costs involved? How much work is it? I have a 95 2500.

See if you can find a rear-end wreak and see about pulling dang near everything off the front end. I thought about doing this to my old 95 1500 gasser but it wasn't worth the effort (that and the wife said NO!)

Let's, it is a heck of alot work.



You will need two parts for the swap:



1. $$$

2. And a 4x4 truck







Your better off trading it in then swapping. Resale on a homemade 4x4 cannot by that good.
