Turn Key off on my 300K mile Cummins and it just wants to keep running. Have yet to pull wire off of fuel shutoff solenoid on pump to test it. I was wandering if There could be a groove cut in the valve seat allowing a small amount of fuel to flow after valve closes? Also my engine low idle speed seems high compared to other first gen. dodges, what is it supposed to be?

Time for breaks again, Is the rear disk conversion a thing of the past, and the 3" rears the way to go or not? Looking for options.

Thanks in advance Jon

won't quit

You do know there is a manual kill lever? You could be right on the plunger tip but pull the wire and see what happens then.

I am still seeing comment on disc brakes so it must be viable but upgrading to bigger shoes and larger cylinders will make it stop better. I believe I have read that the drums are the same. You will need to turn the groove out. I have seen some positive and negative comments on the discs.
