Reset the apps. Went through the procedure and cleared codes before started it up. Off the bat thing runs like its supposed to accelerates and transmission shifts smoothly. Will keep you all updated.

I have had to due this procedure up to 4 times to get it to take permanently. its your PCI.

I can't explain why, but you are going to need a camshaft.

The casting and maching process left a slightly different metal composition that has introduced a magnet field in the cam at a certain point that is messing with the hall effect sensor?

Is there a special lobe on the cam for the sensor to read, like the tone wheel for the crank, or does it sense off the gear?

From what I've gathered there are notches on the back of the camshaft gear that the sensor picks up when it spins, if I had a scope id put it in through where the sensor mounts to investigate if any damage or build-up of some sort, doubtfull there is. But they are expensive.

So I unhooked battery and recalibrated the apps 5 times and still getting the same etc p0341. I can predict when its going to happen. Ill get going up to 40mph let's say and left and push the go peddle lightly and walah. Im pulling a camper this weekend, guess we'll see what happens.

OK... unplug the cam sensor terminal,Start and drive truck,If truck is drivable re-connect,Next unplug Crank sensor and drive truck, Report back conditions. The operational software is program to jump form sensor to sensor,If the system cannot do this its the PCI... If it does Sag2 is correct. New Cam is the solution. .

It doesnt say in your sig auto or stick? I had this same problem a year ago fought it for 10k miles (2 months)tried everything you have said mine turned out to be the transducer in the trans (auto)replaced it. I just about went crazy trying to figure it out. Has not missed a lick. My crank sensor went bed a month ago the first thing I thought of was the transducer but I had a spare crank sensor in my door panel and I was good to go. Hope this helps Randy
