OK, Im looking for a good sounding (aggressive) 5" muffler. I threw my Magnaflow in the trash cause it necked down to 4" inside. I now have a Dynomax bullet muffler... It sounds allright but under hard throttle it cackels a bit I dont like that. I want a good deep rumble but with good flow... In other words I want my cake & to eat it too :-laf

"Silent Might"

I know the guy who makes the rokktech crank sensor also sells a "Silent Might" muffler and also has the recorded sounds of the muffler on his website. I cant remember the site off the top of my head, but if you search for the silent might muffler Im sure you'll find it. I will try looking for it and post the website.

I just put a Donaldson #M100580 (5" in/out x 51" long) on my 05 3500 without a kitty. It sounds great to me. Nice and quiet under load and I know it flows more than anything else you can buy. It is a straight through design with a perforated baffle on the inlet side. I left the baffle in as it was flow rated very high already and I wanted quiet! I also installed a 13" x 5" tip at the same time, but don't think it did too much for the sound. I used adapters to connect it up to my 4" head and tail pipes. Very quiet and freeflowing system.

just ordered MBRP 5" from Clyde at West Coast Diesel Performance. clyde took good care of me, he was very friendly. new muff will be here in 10-15 days as it is being produced right now. hope i like the sound at a $160 :)
