Have any of you guys tried the Catcher ecm with a comp or drag comp? Have you seen 500-600hp with this setup and a big set of injectors and turbo? I'm thinking of trying the ecm and a drag box with some big edms and the HTB2 turbo. Just wandering if anyone ahs tried it. Thanks

ashley, carter is a nw bomber but is not a tdr member and here is his numbers from yesterday in Monroe , WA

Well just wanted to say it was cool, 513. 5 and 999. 5 torque out of this old girl was o. k. Second run I wanted to see the difference without a lock-up switch and locked in fourth gear, 495 and 920, so there you go, anyone with an auto that wants to dyno, should get a lock up switch, that is if they have the transmission that will take it.

A buddy of mine is a little over the 600 Hp mark with twins.

With CaTCHER & Drag Comp...

'Nough said?

Ehmmm, how do I tell you???

Looks like them guys with the big # want to keep their stuff secret...

Injectors are "custom made", whatever that means. :D

CaTCHER is the regular NOT the special version + a drag comp.

Best dyno run so far was 638Hp.

Marco,

No hijack here, but I got to try your ECM on my totally stock truck at the bomb party this past weekend.

Mind you my truck weighs 9 grand empty! (01. 5' 3500 4x4 Flatbed dump H. O. 6 speed)

Needless to say, I don't need one, :-laf ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... but I'm damn skippy gonna have one ASAP! :D

BW borrowed one from a NWB'er member and I, well... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... . hated having to take it off. :(

Thank you for all your effort.

When are the MAD ECM's going to be ready for the 3rd gen's????? Been waiting patiently, but patients is wearing thin!! :( :)

YUP - Time for another "reality check", as unpopular as it is to some, it's gonna take LOT$ more than a fancy ECM to get you anywhere *NEAR* 600 HP...

OTHERWISE, it's sorta like a guy with $3000 worth of assorted mods claiming "I got over 600 HP with my 5 inch exhaust... ;) :D :-laf

... Here it comes... :-{} :-{}

and on a stock clutch... ... ... ... he just knew how to drive a stick better than the rest of us LOL

I have spent over $10K and dont think I'm NEAR 600HP so there's your level of measure. at that level (600HP), nearly everything has to be touched and with custom parts.

I'm not reading Marco's ECM to be a huge addition in HP but more of changing some parameters to make the truck drive better. Like increased low end fueling, meaning better spool up, which, from what I understand, up until now has been hard to accomplish with a 24v.

Well, for sure, anyone considering something in the EZ class would UNDOUBTEDLY be far happier with Marco's ECM - all the :D :D :D of satisfied CATCHER owners CAN'T be ignored!

A buddy stopped @ my shop with his Porsche Cayenne turbo. He has some serious mods done to the SUV. He sez it's @ 550 Hp at the rear wheels.

What has this to do with the question " 500-600hp with Marco's MAD ECM" of this thread?

Well I guess NOTHING or as much as :

I'm at 636hp on #2 only with a stock ECM.

If you actually READ Blackdieselhp's original question:

I'm thinking of trying the ecm and a drag box with some big edms and the HTB2 turbo. Just wandering if anyone ahs tried it

What have your replies to do with that question?

Maybe I'm just stupid and don't understand the question for this thread.

For me it sounds like, can it be done ( Hp level) with the CaTCHER ADDED to the comp or whatever box with mods X, Y, Z... . ?

On the other side, IF I understood correctly what the question is then someone else is of the line. Am I stupid or...

That's for you to decide, man! ;) :D

Be easier on yourself. No one's pointing fingers, yet. :)

I think this is a good topic but the reply's suck... I was looking for people like myself who have high HP trucks, but with the MADecm. See how there drivability is and what other electronics they use. Or if they feel a top end loss in power. I will be at 600HP once I get my head o-ringed and would like to know if the people with big twins, big injectors, and big boxes, could tell a difference between the stock ecm and the MAD...

Yea, I was just wandering if any of you have made it to the 500-600hp mark with the Catcher. Didn't mean to stir up an arguement. I'm working on building a towing truck that will be driven every day. I want it to be in the 500 hp range with a single charger. I was just wandering if anyone has had a setup like this plus the Catcher and how much it helped. I've already built a 600hp twin turbo daily driver that I towed with for 150k miles. I guess some people don't believe that, but all I have for proof are a few dyno sheets. But now I want to build a single charger truck in the same power range. But thanks to you guys that were trying to help me out. I appreciate it.
