I want to add some small lights on the end of my mirrors that will blink with flashers like the new furds i think it looks tight. anybody have any ideas.

This question reminds me of something I used to tell people when I was doing carpentry work... You can do ANYTHING you want, (in changing a house), it is just a matter of Time & Money!

Now having said that, I too have been wanting to add some of those little lights to my mirrors. I do have some ideas. Most of them center around finding the right small lens to set into the mirror housing. Once the correct lens is found, it is just a matter of running the wiring and hooking things up. I haven't found any small lenses that will work though.

light idea's

Check out the wiper light's that the "ricer's"(sub compact racers)

put on thier hoods.

They are LED and could easlily be put onto the out side of the mirror facing rearward yet forward enough to be out of view of the driver.

I have seen them at Auto-Zone.

They are made by pILOT i THINK.

I am not so concerned about the turn signal as i am being able to see the little led lights from the front of the truck i dont even care if they activate when the turn signal comes on.

I did this, It is hard to see but I used a LED Light I bought at a Pilot truck Stop

Here is a closeup of a bigger model of the bulb. This is a 12 Dot light. the one I am using for the T-signal is a 6 dot. 3 on top and 3 on bottom like below.

You can see the size of the 6 dot light in the running light next to the fog light.

Try this link i think you can just screw these on the end of the mirror and it would look like an oem light. what do you guys think? i would go with the 4" red i guess? i think amber would look funny. these lights can be seen 180 degrees and will flush mount they are also self enclosed. and i guess you could attach them in series with the blinkers? that would be cool.

Euro flashers are a good idea. But be careful about adding lighting mods. To often it comes off as tacky and ghey.

P. S. Eric your lighting is not ghey:D

Just be careful with red lights. I know in California, you're not allowed to have any red or blue light that can be seen from the front of the vehicle. They don't want anybody unintentionally imitating an Emergency Vehicle.
