The insurance companies will love this design as well (NOT). This should raise some rates after a few accidents show up on record? One impact to the bumper and grill area will damage hundreds of components. Probably to the point of being a troubleshooting nightmare for the rest of the trucks life (and the owner).
Unbelievable...
And Ford is trying to win people back with this?
I really feel sorry for the brand loyal guys... . They got their work cut out for them.

I mean you cant even see the valve covers under all of that, I dont understand why they cant just go to an inline-6???? Is there something so wrong with such a good design that chevy and ford dont use it?? They would wrather use an over complicated V-8??? I just dont understand it. And fords HEUI injection system?!? Whats wrong with common rail that they have to use engine oil to further complicate the system??

Any of the big three from '03+ are stuffed more than required.

I guess Ford plans on the fuel pump never going bad? You have to get the gear off that pump some how, and sure aren't going to be able to do it with the cab on, or with the turbo's installed, or does the pump come striaght up, and then you get to remove the gear on the bench?
Did anybody else notice the battery negatives were disconnected in the pics... resetting the ECM to clear codes maybe? :-laf
