Hey everyone, can you believe this? My NV5600 shifts slick as greased glass when it's colder (it's been ~40° lately here). It doesn't seem to shift *quite* as well when it's warmed up.
This is ESPECIALLY true shifting into first. Once fully warm, it takes a little coaxing to grab some of the gears, like most people say is normal for the 6-speed.
I have been considering the Redline change for a while now, since I use Redline in lots of other things and always have had great results with it.
I wonder if the fluid being thicker when cold helps to smooth the shifts out. That also makes me wonder if a slightly thicker lube would be necessary in this trans.
Maybe I just need to change the lube?
