Just died no codes no nothing. Always have had fuel pressure too. Now what to get ? I am not pleased the warrenty ran out last January. Has anyone ran an Industrial Injection 235hp pump and are there any vendors that make an exceptional VP or are they all doomed anyway.

Your's was like the xxx,xxx out there from the 02 era with the brass advance piston sleeve. Bosch thought that brass would give a better sleeve, but it did not because it would eventually foul and fail.

Any rebuilt has the steel sleeve and should run fine. Pick the rebuilder of your choice.

I think they wil continue to fail because of the extremely poor fuel delivery and return fuel systems design and inability to get rid of the heat generated internal to the Vp44 and until you correct that you will continue to kill pumps very xx,xxx miles.

Totally rebuild the fuel system and cool the fuel and the VP44 and I think it will last a very long time.
