The heads don't care how fast all those other parts are moving, it's the valve train and those heavy diesel pistons and con rods that care about RPMs. Combustion pressures and EGT are not necessarily related to RPM.

And the don't put out anywhere near what they claim. I think it was something like 226hp and 429ft. lbs. A new 24 valve will dyno stock real close to the claimed numbers they advertise. Maybe the one I saw was a dud, I don't know. Someone clue me in here if those things are really as good as they claim.
