Andy Nelson's BBQ at Fall Brawl!!

It's official gang the 6th Annual SEEfood Challenge is here! In 6 years ALOT has happened ALOT of change , ALOT of trucks, ALOT of fun ... And there ain' No turnin' back now so LET'S EAT! The event has changed or "Morphed" if you will from an actual SeaFood thang that started with "Ill bring the Lobstah" (Famous words from 98Rammer) To the SEEfood Challenge that you see today. Kind of a celebratory way of kicking back and signing off for a bit.

The Challenge ... well like making fat Tuesday look like Thin Thursday, and has become one of the best times had in the N. E. It has gotten to the point that it has spawned off it's own new trend "The Day after" which is an extra day left over for either relaxing or finishing up wrenchin, or to grab a good nite's sleep before drivin home. Either way Bacon , eggs , and sausage is usually on hand with champagne and orange juice to greet ya. Or if needed plenty of excedrin , advil , or tylenol is on hand.

The menu has allways been quite extensive including foods from nearly all walks of life. Including lobstah , steamers , chowdahs , steaks , ribs , kabobs , chilli , jemboliah , pizza's , corn , fried turkey , marinaded prtabellas , Shredded Pork bbq , Spanish - Fried and Tomato Rices , SOS , Soups , Pastas , Jamaccan Patties , Fried Turkey, Cookies , Burgers , Dogs , Corn , Breads , Cakes and the list goes on and I know there is waaay more.

If you make a dish that can WOW someone bring it , if not bring it anyhow. Canned goods are also needed as the BSA will be getting a visit from us when they come arround. Bring some tools, maybee a fold up chair or two as there is allways a wrench or ratchet spinning somewhere at any given moment during this thang and most importantly bring yourselves and family too along with a good healthy apetite Oo.

Plenty of parking and to keep the landlord happy no burnouts. There are hotels (Courtyard and Marriott and the Ramada) which are less than 10 minutes away from the shop.

As allways $10. 00 per person ($15. 00 per couple and Kids allways free) ALL Proceeds go twards charrities in dire need at the time of the event. Bring whtever beverage gets your tastebuds going! So here we go, and I for one cannot WAIT to catch up with everyone!!!

Tool...

I am not sure if I will be able to make this one yet. I have had some rough rowing recently due to my wife flying the coup to move in with her boss. I have had to cash in whats left of my vacation to cover the finances she left in shambles and lost my loose day for this show. I got some tough road to roll on over the next few weeks and IF I can manage through it I may slip up there. I will let you know as the time draws near about it... ... ... . Andy

Human sacrifice... . you mean like trying to breathe around Signal73? Oh, the humanity! :{

Lets not forget the Beans. Oo.

I cant wait. I will be there and bring the noseplugs for the later part of the evening :-laf

will there be any human sacrifice this year?

No, not since 2004 when I was photographed by Bob ("BIGDIG") shouting at my shoes in the parking lot while holding onto my front bumper/grille guard. I sacrified myself to the SEEfood Gods all day and all night - damn proud of it, too. Seeing Mark cleaning up the mess the next AM with a garden hose? Priceless.

Word to the wise: if TMTT offers you 6-month old cherry flavored dip at 02:00 WHILE you're smoking a cigar after eating/drinking literally all day - you might want to be slightly rude and tell him to go away. I swear to you with the SEEfood Gods as my witness - I could have kept all that food/booze down if it wasn't for the dip. :-laf

Beers,

MTY

Seafood event circa 2002 - my first beer of the day - it was probably 10AM or so. Notice the two coolers... literally packed to the hilt with lobstahs... . MMMMmmmmm... .

... and the infamous picture of me shouting at my shoes - edited so that nobody looses their lunch looking at what I did to the pavement and my Doc Martens.

Beers,

Matt
