First to adress the 518. The problem is I love driving standard, so naturally if I'm going to change the trans. I may as well do it right and get a stick.
Secondly in saying I want a stick, I would love a NV5600 and if I could afford it I would do it. The problem is I am saving (attempting at saving???

) money for school and I figure I can get a Gutbag for cheaper than a NV5600 which at least lets me have a stick and solves my RPM issue. And no I have none, zip, nada, not a one Getrag part lying aroung. But yes, a NV5600 is definetally the ultimate than one day when the money is there, I may take out the gutbag and put in the 6 speed.
As for the rear end ratio, it is 3. 07's so I can only imagine what 4. 10's must be like. As for being able to rev higher I can. I have gotten the truck to go a little faster than 70MPH.
My turn. What happens to the transfer case when you change to a gutbag? Are there any different parts that would be needed? What about the trans tunnel, does anything change there? Any other thoughts on the over all conversion? Your responces are very much appreciated. Thanks.
