Does anyone have a parts list of what's needed to change over to 93 radiator? . Any help will be great. Thanks.

Question for you all as this thread progresses - Why do you want to put a '93 radiator in a '91 truck? What's the benefit? Also - is it an inter-cooled '91 or non-intercooled?

Thanks!

Mike

Mike, The 93 Rad. Is 2 Times The Size Of The Stock 91 Rad. I tow A 33 Foot 5th Wheel And It Run's Very Close To Over Heating In Hot Weather.

Radiator Conversion

Steve M,

I have the info that you are looking for. PM me your email address and I will email it to you. I found more info and just need to scan it into the computer and then I can send it Thursday.

The '93 radiator is a definite improvement over the '91 - the '91 is a downflow, with the inlet directly above the outlet - causes "short cycling" of coolent and poor engine cooling. The '93 is a cross-flow, with inlet and outlet on opposite sides of the radiator - much improved cooling.

I did the swap on my early '91 - total cost was about $225, and well worth it.
