Engine/Transmission (1994 - 1998) 94 3500. fresh built 47 Rh shifting troubles

Iv got a fresh rebuilt trans and I cannot get it to shift properly. It shifts from first to second OK. At around 2000rpm under light throttle. Then i t doesn't matter how easy or hard on the throttle it will not shift from second to third until I completely let of the throttle and I have to be gentle with it until around 55 mph or else it will shift back down to second gear. I have no idea how to fix this. It has do e it since installed. Less than 2000 miles on it

Yes I have several times. Iv got mine all the way forward. My next step is to buy a new cable and see if that works. Or send the trans back to get checked out but then I have a week down without the pickup

Yes I have adjusted it. I have it all the way forward. I think I am gonna try a new cable. and if that doesn't work I'm gonna hafta send trans back to get fixed. But then that a week with out the pickup

Sounds like there is either a valve body or governor issue.........

I would bite the bullet and have it checked under warranty. I would worry that the builder would claim I shouldn't have driven it, causing more damage that occurred while driving it.

Alright. Sounds like I'll hafta call them. They are pretty easy to get along with so far. They know I'm having the trouble and just dont have time to send it back. But I guess I'll make time
